NEW ROOF? LET’S TALK GUTTERS
When you’ve decided to purchase a new roof from Rain Remodeling, or we’re engaged in roof repair for your home, we recommend you consider new gutters along with an upgrade to your soffit and fascia.
WHY ARE GUTTERS IMPORTANT?
Gutters are your home’s primary water management system. The keep water from finding its way into your walls and causing mold; they direct water away from your foundation, helping to prevent basement flooding; and they protect your landscaping from the damage caused by pooling or cascading water.
You know your gutters need replaced if you see them sagging or pulling away from their mountings, or when you see mold and mildew, water damage, or water marks beneath the gutters.
Cracks and splits in your gutters are another sign that water is not being directed properly and your gutters are no more effective than a bucket with a hole in the bottom.
When investing in a new roof or roof repair project, consider replacing your gutters as well. Ask about our special financing; we can build multiple projects into one low payment!
SOFFIT AND FASCIA
Soffit and fascia are a protection system. Without a soffit, the rafters can get wet, which leads to mold and damaging rot.
When your roof is being replaced, it’s a good time to check on your soffit and fascia, as worn roofing may have contributed to soffit and fascia damage also.
At Rain Remodeling, we can install new vinyl or aluminum panels to protect your home from the weather. This will also improve the look of your home and add to its value.
